RANDY PASUCH’S WIDOW SPEAKS ABOUT THE LEGACY OF THE LAST LECTURE
Jai Pausch is the widow of Randy Pausch, author of the mega-bestseller THE LAST LECTURE (Hyperion; April 8, 2008; hardcover; $21.95)
Randy Pausch, well-known for his “last lecture” at Carnegie Mellon, passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2008. Since then, his widow Jai Pausch has spent her time giving talks to raise awareness on cancer, inaugurated CMU’s Memorial Bridge dedicated to her husband, and juggled the demands of being a single mother of Dylan, 7, Logan, 4, and Chloe 3. She continues to rebuild her life, while keeping Randy’s memory and wisdom alive.
Jai is now a board member of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, the national organization that advances research and supports patients, their families and caregivers affected with the disease.
With over 5 million copies in print worldwide since publication in April 2008, The Last Lecture has appeared on the New York Times Bestseller list for 84 weeks and has been translated into 46 languages.
For the first time, Randy’s widow Jai Pausch is available for selected interviews about her family’s life since losing Randy, pancreatic cancer research, and her husband’s legacy.
